Teaching Philosophy

While teaching at UCLA, I have developed my philosophy for teaching: PAPER

  • Purpose: foster intellectually growth in students and build a learning community
  • Approach: facilitate learning through active learning and real-world scenarios
  • Pedagogy: follow the socratic method along with problem-based learning and collaborative learning
  • Equity: create an inclusive learning environment supporting underrepresented students
  • Reflection: seek feedback to continuously improve instruction
